New Fallout 4 Update Fixes 'Issue With Player Becoming Dismembered While Still Alive'

Fallout 4’s latest update is en route, promising to bring a few changes and fix a bunch of bugs, several of which are related to dismemberment. Gotta get that dismemberment working right! The 1.3 update is currently in beta on Steam but doubtless will be coming to all platforms in the not-too-distant future. On PC, it adds new graphics options for HBAO+ as well as Nvidia-exclusive “weapon debris effects,” which are hopefully cool looking but will probably just crater my frame-rate whenever my gun generates debris. Or whatever it is “debris effects” means. The patch will fix MacReady’s killshot perk, which has been hilariously broken and overpowered since the game launched.
